Gettin' Down With My Crafty Self

The combination of triple digit temperatures and too much time left to myself has bred the latest of my infrequent attempts at craftiness

and, surprisingly, I'm actually happy with this one.

I most certainly can't take credit for the idea, in fact, I found it on Pinterest, otherwise known as the ultimate time waster this side of the universe.

Mine obviously looks less professional then the pinner's, but it was my first attempt afterall.

I'm gonna go ahead and cut myself a little slack.

I mean, it's cute, right?

This has revived my inner DIYer, I just feel the glitter beginning to course through my veins already.

In my mind, I envision a series of various shapes, like a star or peace sign.

Who knows, the world is really my oyster!

I mean, I don't see the temperature dropping any time soon anyway.

Time to get crafting!
