Beach Reads to Get Lost In

What can I say?
I have a fever and the only perscription is more Chick-Lit!

So, I just finished "Mockingjay", the final book in the Hunger Games series, and oh good gravy! It was an emotional rollercoater! I won't say more so as not to spoil it for ya'll that haven't read it yet, but just be warned, it gets crazy.

Now that I got that slight outburst off my chest, I can get down to real business. I need to pick out my next book for the Summer. I won't lie, I have dozens upon dozens of books that I can choose. Stockpiles from when Borders went out of business (a moment of silence, please.........)as well as boxes full from yard sales. I really shouldn't be compiling a list of all the books I would like to buy and yet, that is exactly what I am about to do.

Straight from Amazon's Wish List here are my Summer Beach Reads:

After a troubled upbringing in foster care, a girl uses her knowledge of flower's meaning to communicate her own emotions and connect with the outside world.

Set in the backdrop of the 1920's, this tells the story of Cora Carlisle, the chaperone of the upcoming silent-movie star, Louise Brooks.

Follows twenty-eight-year-old Adam Newman who seemingly has life all figured-out, but an unsettling meeting leaves him re-thinking what exactly he wants out of life; security or adventure?

Family and friends gather on New England island for a social wedding, but the occassion is upset by affairs, betrayal, lust among the wedding party

A neglected and overlooked wife and mother finds herself truly invisible one morning and, worse yet, her condition remains unnoticed by her husband and son.

Four wealthy, suburban women with relatively nothing in common turn their Diversity Committee Meeting into a poker game in which cards are traded for secrets. As their games continue, the women form a bond and grow to rely upon one another to resolve thier personal hurdles.

So there you go!
Those are just six of the books that I am interested in sinking my teeth into this Summer. I can't be like the professional reading blogs where the writer reads twenty books in a month. My eyes don't work that quickly, unfortunately. Plus, it's probably bad for me to be spending so much time adding books on my wish list. Who knows, in a particularly weak moment I might add to cart instead of wish list, and given my unemployed condition, that couldn't be good for the ol' bank account.

Anywho, that was a long digression. What I really want to know is what is on your reading list?
Is there any book you are particularly excited about pulling out at the beach?

Shoot, all this talk about reading has gotten me itching to start, so I shall bid you all adieu!
