Sisters Day, Boy Bands and Marilyn Monroe; this is my life,
and it's only Sunday.
Today is a hodge podge of all things great and wonderful.
First, we must begin with the anniversary of, undoubtedly, the most iconic female figure today.
The woman whom with her red lips, golden locks and breathy voice has continued to transfix the public 50 years after her death.
Marilyn Monroe continues to represent all the beauty and confidence women hope to effuse and men hope to behold.
Check this out: Daily Beast Article on why women today still look to Marilyn Monroe as a role model
Next, I'd like to wish a happy Sisters Day to my own sister, Morgan, as well as to all the others out there in the world. Having a sister is like having a built-in best friend, not to mention a partner-in-crime, personal shopper, gossip buddy, #1 champion and, in some cases, scapegoat. I am definitely blessed to have all these things in Morgan, even though she mocks me for my taste in music, movies and men. Then again, that is just another benefit of having a sister. They keep your witty comebacks primed.

Finally, I'll provide you with exactly the reason Morgan mocks me for my musical taste. I was extremely excited to open up the Sunday paper to find my beloved boy band, Big Time Rush, on the cover of Parade magazine, looking as adorable as ever!

They won the magazine's Best Boy Band contest and I must say, I am very proud of them. They've definitely come a long way from the country fairs circuit they were doing last Summer.
And there you have it.
Those are all the wonderful things that are making me smile this Sunday.
Oh, wait!
I almost forgot.
Here is the kitchen sink:
I didn't want you thinking I wasn't true to my word.
So, there you really have it.
I hope this Sunday finds you all fantastically.
Don't forget to send a shout-out to your sister if you have one and if you don't, call up that friend that is like a sister. I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
Love to all!
