Happy August Everyone!

Better yet, happy Happiness Happens Month!

That's right, folks, you heard correctly.

As of 2000, August is Happiness Happens month.

I first heard about this from a cheerful radio host this morning. Frankly, it seemed like a crime to have gone this long without knowing about such a delightful holiday.

It all started with this group- Secret Society of Happy People -who, from what I've gathered, wanted to encourage people to recognize and cherish their own happy moments and share them with others.

Embrace happiness. What a novel concept!

I quite love it, actually.

In fact, I've been inspired!

I have made it my goal this month to spread a little more happiness to the people around me.

I'm really thinking a pay-it-forward moment might be in the cards. It's been on my Bucket List for awhile now and I just think there is no better time than now!
