Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows

I'm not sure why, but this delightfully upbeat tune was running through my head as I was putting this post together.
It seems like a good outlook for 2013.
This year my days will all be sunshine, lollipops and rainbows dang it.
I won't take no for an answer.
In all seriousness, I'm extremely surprised and relieved with how well the Transition Year of 2012 was navigated.
Meltdowns were kept to a surprisingly low number.
The world didn't come to an end, a fact that far fewer people could say at the beginning of last year, so really we are improving I feel.

In the entertainment sector of my life, out of the five bands that would comprise my ultimate concert, I saw two last year.
That brings the current line-up to this:
McFly
The Wanted
Big Time Rush
Pitbull
LMFAO*
*this one wobbles a little bit but I'm thoroughly confident they would throw the ultimate party. I mean, have you seen their AMA performance?!

You're welcome.

I also completed my bucket list goal of writing down something that made my smile everyday for a year.
This particular goal I really recommend to everyone because it is such a delight to look back through, in my case it's on my calendar, and see everything that happened in a year. It also reminds you of fun little tidbits from life, like getting that free coffee or the day you got all green lights on the way home, that you would otherwise have forgotten long ago.
Just something to consider.
You can still catch up, we are only four days in.

As far as 2013 goes, I do have a few more resolutions.
I plan on waking up earlier, which shouldn't be too difficult seeing as my current wake-up time hovers around 10:30 a.m. Then with all this extra time, I will be updating more frequently here. A goal I know must excite you all greatly just to imagine all of the brilliant remarks I will have prepared for you.
Either that, or I will run out of material by February and this will become a place where I just spew off my thoughts on the latest Pretty Little Liars episode. Both good options I feel.

So yes, these are my goals.
They aren't very lofty, I admit.
Who knows though, maybe all my extra time in the morning will allow me to construct such quirky, entertaining pieces on my life that I get offered a book deal, then that book gets picked up by a production company and they make my life into a movie and I get to star as myself and they bring in Shamar Moore to play my yet-to-exist love interest.
Best resolution ever.

Leading man?

I would tell you to have a good day, but I know that that is assured now that you've seen Mr. Moore at least once today.
You can go ahead and put this on your "Things that Made Me Smile Today" list.

You're welcome again.
