A Few Bits of Introspection

So there is nothing like starting a new year to get you thinking about personal goals and weaknesses.
The past few days I have had ample opportunity to do some introspection.
This, of course, is code for my friends have moved out of state and I have a lot free time on my hands.
Here is what I have come up with so far:
(none of it is Pulitzer Prize winning stuff)
Since starting a "big-girl" office job, I have been slightly concerned that all of the sitting that is intrinsically tied to my work will result in, for lack of a better term, a bubble-butt.
Most of my peers might remember an Even Stevens episode that depicted this phenomenon perfectly.
He is sitting down and eats a whole bunch of candy bars or something and Ren comes in ands warns him that all that candy is going to catch up with him.
He's like I look exactly the same, but when he gets up his butt is gigantic.
Ring any bells?
I looked on YouTube for the video but got sidetracked and ended up watching two different episodes.
Let me tell you, that hour sidetrack was definitely worth it.
Anyway, it was suggested that I take up walking around the block again to quell this fear.
Seeing as I am a fan of minimal exercise, I think this is a good route to take.
I will let you know if this goal ever gets off the ground.

If this ramble wasn't enough for you. I've got another one.
So, I've never been a big fan of breakfast. I don't often go for elaborate meals.
I am fine with my toast and coffee.
Well, yesterday I though I'd get a little adventurous.
I was going to make an omelette. A fancy omlette with olives and cheese and little sausage crumbles.
I clearly didn't remember the kind of person I am in the kitchen.
It went downhill fast.
I burned the frying pan.
The omelette became more of a scramble thing that, honestly, I think some parts were overcooked while other parts were undercooked which I'm not too sure how that's possible.
I broke a glass.
I even wasted a whole container of butter.
Case in point:
After hearing all this you are probably thinking, "Gee, that girl should really stay out of the kitchen."
Well, guess what?
I'm planning on making dinner for my parents tonight.
I think it is going to go swimmingly.
If not, at least I have more blog fodder.

I'll let you know how it goes!
xoxoxo
