Grad Party Outfit- Reality

The absolute insanity that is graduation weekend has been and gone and I think I am finally getting over that whole "hot mess" look I had going for a week. Thank goodness too because I just could not pull it off.


Since I've been told that a picture is worth a thousand words, I hope to use them to convey to you the emotions I've endured within a very short time span. I think they will give you a pretty clear understanding of  what has been going on around here.

First, finals week.

Do you feel like you have a pretty firm grasp on the recent emotions surrounding my life now? I, personally, feel like I just relived it all. Roller-coaster of emotions to say the least. Also, in case you were wondering, yes, I take probably ninety percent of my photos with my mouth open. It just conveys so many emotions.

So, now that you are all caught up, I have more exciting news! You might recall one of my recent posts included my plans for an outfit for Joni's graduation party. Well, ladies and gentlemen, you may release the breath you have been holding. I have found my pink jeans!

As if you couldn't already tell, I am very excited about this outfit. It holds great promise. Now, I just need the party to get here already. Don't worry, only a little more than two weeks away. I should be able to hold out. Hopefully.

Have you had any recent shopping success? I was at the mall the minute the doors opened with the hopes of finding these beauties. Seriously, I was keeping pace with retirees and senior citizen walker groups. As I am coming to realize, thus is the life of a recent graduate. We'll see if the luck holds out.
