Being in seventy plus weather for too long, I have no idea how to dress properly for anything colder. Naturally, I layered on almost all the winter appropriate clothes I have. Here we have exhibit A in the wardrobe department:
It says, "I wear a lot of clothes for the rain" |
After the clothes assembly, I embarked on my journey to school. Little did I know then that I was taking my own life in my hands by doing so. Bum Bum Baaaaa!!!
That was a little dramatic. I'll admit. But let me tell you what hapened. I was driving down a car lined street. The rain was pelting down on the window and the trees were billowing left and right. As I was about to pass a giant palm tree, I noticed a branch come loose and fly down to the ground. BAM!! It landed right in front of Little JoAnna (That is the name of my car)! It was seriously like one of those movie moments. I could not even believe it. I don't think it would have done too much damage if it fell on my car, but it was pretty big and I like to exaggerate. I should have taken a picture of the offending branch, but I was being hurried by an impatient, oncoming car. So you will have to use your imagination on how big it was. Needless to say, I now have a renewed zest for life. Live like you're dying, and all that.
Now these pictures may make you think that such a horrible storm might never pass, but fear not! No matter how bad a storm may look, it will always end. Yes, I do want that to be part of a bigger moral lesson.
There is always going to be a rainbow |
You just have to look for it |
I will keep this plan in my back pocket for future evenings in. It never gets old, after all. Plus, I am only in the beginning phase of becoming addicted to the book. That means I will create evenings in on my own just to read it. I already cannot wait.
You look adorable in your rain get up!!!
